The 2023 World Baseball Classic quarterfinals began, and bracket play finished. Fans from different countries filled the seats with hopes of their teams advancing into this round. I asked a fan from Puerto Rico how many games they were planning on attending, she said "Every game that Puerto Rico plays."

Miami's Cuban fan base was rollicking in the 100 levels about a potential Puerto Rico or USA matchup in the semifinals.

The Cuban National teams star player Yoan Moncada was leading the way for the for his team, his batting average was .435, which included ten total hits, according to Baseball America. One of the hits left the stadium in Tokyo.

LoanDepot was updating the stadium with any scoring changes that occurred from other pools, and fans in LoanDepot were still waiting for the Dominican Republic game outcome, between Puerto Rico.

Venezuela had beaten Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic in the first two games. Most of my co-workers were of Hispanic descent, so I was constantly bringing up the Cuba score, with anticipation of the Cuban National Team playing at LoanDepot Park in front of their die-hard fans. Venezuela finished off Israel, Anthony Santander accounted for most of the runs, hitting for a double and a homerun, he totaled five rbi's and five hits in three games.
