First Day at LoanDepot Park, this summer working at Fanatics, I thought my job would be filled with stocking level, and completing tasks that included exclusive World Baseball Classic and Miami Marlins merchandise, "you know bats, balls, hats, jerseys and a layer of Flashback and heritage." Mornings usually started entering the stadium where players enter and opposing teams walk by before entering clubhouse. The first games were off to great starts, the fans were happy to see their fellow country men playing baseball and the media exposure would only get bigger as the tournament reached the Final game. According to CBS Sports, Venezuela beat Dominican Republic 5-1.in the first game, Puerto Rico one of the favorites going into the tournament beat Nicaragua 9-1. By the end of the first week Venezuela had won all their games including a key victory over Puert Rico. Dominican Republic was also playing well with wins against Nicaragua and Israel.
